ok so what's happening right here? we're calculating the activity rate? in the traditional way...and to do that we're dividing the total cost? by the cost driver? which in this case is machine hours, so it looks like different activities from multiple cost pools? --or is this the same cost pool?--are going to be homogenized into a single rate or something
